Belle de Jour (1967) french film who’s gist is about a woman, Catherine Deneuve, who spend her days as a prostitute while her husband is at work. 

Spellbinding and Iconic of equal measure. A good way to jump start my way back to the history. 

I just hope I don’t fall asleep while watching — one thing I’m good at though.

-Twenty years ago the average fashion model weighed 8% less than the average woman. Today, she weighs 23% less.

- Ten years ago plus-size models averaged between size 12 and 18. Today the need for size diversity within the plus-size modeling industry continues to be questioned. The majority of plus-size models on agency boards are between a size 6 and 14, while the customers continue to express their dissatisfaction.

- Most runway models meet the Body Mass Index physical criteria for Anorexia.

- 50% of women wear a size 14 or larger, but most standard clothing outlets cater to sizes 14 or smaller.

I was sick last night, and gotten worse, but it’s definitely not an excuse not to celebrate the New Year. I wasn’t able to take photos of the fireworks, and yeah ze food, upon welcoming 2012 because we were too busy whoring photos of ourselves. I love celebrating the holidays with those people I grew up with. When I was 7, they’re just my ate’s and kuya’s. 13 years later, they have become my friends and extended family. Nothing feels like home.

She’s the only person, besides my family, who knows me well. She’s gonna go back to Japan in a few months so better seize the moment with her.
